Fashion designer Mika Perlmutter asked me to make a catalogue for her graduation collection based on patchwork. In her collection she includes work of other fashion designers as part of the concept of patchwork. The catalogue includes Perlmutters “She Keeps Her Shears Sharp” manifesto and displays the work she borrowed from others. A patchwork made of images from the included collections is placed in the heart of the catalogue and all the pages are bound together by sewing machine. I made it in the big format of A2 to resemble the heavy and bodily feeling of fabric when you turn the pages.
