TAkEAwaY is the graduation publication of the graphic design Class of 2020 at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (NL). In the spring of 2020 when no one knew if a physical graduation show would be possible, my class decided to work towards a collective publication as a format for our individual graduation projects. This way it could be a “takeaway graduation show”. Every graduating student was assigned 32 pages each to rule over as preferred. My contribution is titled Terms & Conditions and is the opening chapter. It provides a compilation of notes taken during 4 years of studies, creating a toolbox for the future. It is a study of typographical sensitivity and the pictures carry a vibe of gloomy nostalgia. It is printed in a light yellow tone to suggest notebook paper.
